Variation on General Rate Increase (GRI) for import shipments from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh |

MSC wishes to inform clients that starting May 1st 2012, a General Rate Increase (GRI) will be effective for all import cargo from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to the ports of Arica and Iquique in accordance to the following detail: GRI from ASIA USD 200 per 20´ container USD 300 per 40´ container This surcharge will be included in the Bill of Lading (B/L) under the same payment condition as the basic freight for all cargo that sets sail from May 1st. |
