MSC wishes to inform clients that in order to provide a better service, the procedure for the presentation of the shipping instructions has been modified, effective from the vessel MSC PILAR V-1216R (ETA Arica April 19th). In this sense, all shipping instructions must be presented within a maximum of 24 hours prior the entry of the unit to stacking. In case of more than one container, in one reservation, the reference should be the entrance of the last container. For the entrance of units within weekends and holidays, shipping instructions should be presented the following working day, until 12:00 at noon (Chilean time). The date and hour of the stacking closure is mandatory, for which, containers that enter on the last day of stacking, must respect the stated hour for the closure and presentation of the shipping instructions. In case the shipping instruction is not presented within the period / deadline, the port agent must pay MSC Arica the amount of 50.000 Chilean pesos, for the presentation of the shipping instructions after the deadline.
